She wanted a yarn made from recycled sea plastics and other sustainable materials, so her rugs would be not only eco-friendly but also inherently resistant to moths, stains, and liquid absorption.

After finding the perfect manufacturer, Sophie decided to go fully bespoke, partnering with a small, family-run carpet factory in India. Six weeks later, her stair runners were ready – and they were an instant hit. Requests from friends came flooding in, and Sophie’s dream quickly became a reality.
